The first county-level geographical indication industry association in Fujian Province was established in Yunxiao, Zhangzhou

On October 20, the geographical indication industry association of Yunxiao County, Zhangzhou city was officially established. This is the first county-level Industrial Association named after geographical indications in Fujian Province, and the development of geographical indication industry in the whole county is a new chapter.

In recent years, Yunxiao County has continuously accelerated the registration and protection process of China's geographical indication agricultural products (5.600, 0.07, 1.27%), promoted the upgrading of agricultural industry, improved the quality and efficiency of food industry and e-commerce service industry, and worked hard to achieve the goal of "starting a trademark, cultivating an industry and enriching the people". As of October this year, Yunxiao has successfully registered 36 geographical indication certification trademarks, and another two geographical indication agricultural products are still in the announcement stage, ranking first in the number of county-level administrative regions in China. Among them, Yunxiao loquat and zhuta mud clam are well-known trademarks in China and have won mutual recognition and protection of geographical indications between China and Europe.
